An intensive science enrichment program open to 5th and 6th grade students. Student pairs participate in 3-4 topics and work from September – March/April preparing for their topics to compete at tournaments. ALL parents MUST be volunteers/coaches/mentors for this program. [OPEN to 5th & 6th Grade students ONLY, limit of 30 students on the team]. If we are oversubscribed, we will conduct a lottery to select 30 students.
For 2022-23 school year, we will return to in-person meeting times after school. We will go over the details of how this works and the level of flexibility possible with meeting times for this program at the information meeting on Sept. 14th. Please note, Science Olympiad is an extremely rewarding program, yet it requires an EXTENSIVE amount of commitment from PARENTS and students. ALL parents MUST be mentors for the program. There is no way to participate without mentoring. More will be explained at the meeting.
