Our Science Olympiad team went to our first tournament of the season at National Cathedral School in Washington D.C. on Saturday. Due to a conflict with LEGO Robotics State tournament, we only had a partial team represent us. Many students stepped up to cover events for others often going from one session to the next for the entire day.
It was very exciting to hear Louise Archer’s name announced several times at the awards ceremony. Congratulations to the students for placing in their events. A huge thanks to Ms. Stohs for coming out to assist with our school’s volunteer commitment.
Our next tournament is on Saturday, Dec 14th at Lake Braddock Secondary School.
