REFLECTIONS: Explore the Arts and Express Yourself!
All Louise Archer students are encouraged to participate in the Reflections Arts Contest, a National PTA Program. Students can submit original works in six different categories, outlined below. A student can submit only one entry per category, but submissions in multiple categories are permitted.

Please note: any guidelines regarding physical submissions do not apply, as our PTA chapter is only accepting digital submissions.
Theme
“I Belong!” encourages conversations about what it means to belong, the value and privilege of feeling like we belong somewhere, and how we can create welcoming spaces to share that feeling with others. Gain a better understanding of this year’s theme (and find examples of submissions in each of the six categories) here.
Awards
Students’ submissions are reviewed by independent third-party judges based on artistic skill and how the theme is interpreted. The entries are judged against peers’ work (grades K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th). Those with the highest scores from our school competition progress to an area competition and possibly to regional, state, and national contests.
We will celebrate all Louise Archer entries and participants in a special reception in December.
Deadline
