2023 Holiday Cookie Carry

The 2023 Holiday Cookie Carry is Monday, December 11th, and we need your help! This is a great opportunity to spread some holiday cheer and show your appreciation to the wonderful teachers and staff of Louise Archer.

Please share a batch (or two) of your favorite cookies or baked goods to be displayed in both teacher’s lounges on the morning of Monday, December 11th. The teachers and staff will be able to enjoy the treats during the day, and bring home any leftovers. All goodies are welcome! If you are not a baker, store bought items are also welcome and appreciated.

If you plan on participating in the 2023 Holiday Cookie Carry, please sign-up. There is more information in the SUG.

Any questions, please contact Lauren Padgett.

Any questions can be directed to Beth Jackson.

Thank you, as always, for the generosity and kindness the Louise Archer community demonstrates towards our students! We appreciate all you do!

Giving Tuesday

You’ve heard about #BlackFriday and #CyberMonday, but what about #Giving Tuesday?

In this season of gratitude and giving, you can be the change for our nation’s children. You empower every child’s future and invest in our student’s well-being across the country when you make a gift this Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28. PTA is #HerefortheKids, and we know you are too. Please visit PTA.org/Give or, for a direct donation, LouiseArcherPTA.org to join/donate.

Take advantage of your employee match program this year and every year. Don’t leave money on the table when it comes to supporting our students.

Also, don’t forget to ask if they allow employees to volunteer their time with local charities. Some companies offer paid time off to staff when they volunteer with an organization in their community.

Sock Hop is this Friday!!!

Put your dancing shoes on for the Sock Hop at Louise Archer. The event will be on this Friday, (November 10th). We will have food in the Cafeteria from 6-7:30pm and a DJ in the Gym from 7-8:30pm. As always our 6th graders will hop the tables and raise funds via tips for their 6th grade celebration.

Please note, chaperones are extra critical this year, as Louise Archer is currently an active construction site. Please ensure that children are not running or being overly rambunctious at your post. It is imperative that children follow schoolwide hallway expectations as they move from the cafeteria to the gym.

Please consider volunteering and/or donating needed supplies for this event to make it a success!

We greatly appreciate your help!and we can’t wait to host this fun event for students and families! Contact Molly Peng or Reshma Patel with any questions.
