Louise Archer 80th Anniversary Celebration
In honor of our 80th Anniversary this year, Louise Archer is hosting a special celebration on the evening of Thursday, March 21st from 6:00 – 8:00pm for our families and community members. Come take a self guided tour of our building and see displays of museum artifacts and student works that share our school’s history. Also stop by the Cafeteria for light refreshments, compliments of our PTA.
We are looking for volunteers to help with refreshments, set up, and clean up that night. Please sign-up! Thank you in advance for helping to make the Louise Archer 80th Anniversary celebration a huge success.
Sunshine Times - 2nd Edition
Do your kids play basketball and are following the March Madness? Have them write about it or any of their favorite sports for The Sunshine Times.
Students can write about, or draw or take a picture of school and class activities, vacations, local events, or sports. They can also submit travel/book/movie/music/art reviews, interviews, puzzles, Spanish-language columns, poetry, cartoons, or advice columns -- all ideas are welcome.
Sports Camp Registration Coming Soon
Summer Sports Camp is returning to Louise Archer! These camps will again be taught by your favorite PE teachers and the Sports & Games LLC staff.
We plan to run three sessions and the planned dates are:
July 29-August 2, and
We expect registration to begin in April and will pass along more information very soon. Email us with questions.
Madison Drama Kids' Camp Friday, April 5
Friday, April 5, 2019 8:30 am – 3:00 pm at Madison High School
(April 5 is a Teacher Work Day)
All kids ages 7-14 (2nd – 8th grade)
$65 per camper
A Moana-themed day of singing, dancing, and acting, and so much more led by Madison Drama students! Learn what it’s like to put together a production, and even put on one of your own. The Madison Drama students will be running amazing activities. The kids will be broken up into groups by ages and learn the various steps to a production, at the end they will put on a short show for you all to enjoy. The $65 camp fee includes a t-shirt and lunch (pizza, juice box, and chips). Parents are welcome to attend a 10 minute performance at 3:00 pm.
