Put your dancing shoes on for the Sock Hop at Louise Archer. The event will be on Friday, November 10th. We will have food in the Cafeteria from 6-7:30pm and a DJ in the Gym from 7-8:30pm. As always our 6th graders will hop the tables and raise funds via tips for their 6th grade celebration.

Please note, chaperones are extra critical this year, as Louise Archer is currently an active construction site. Please ensure that children are not running or being overly rambunctious at your post. It is imperative that children follow schoolwide hallway expectations as they move from the cafeteria to the gym.

Please consider volunteering and/or donating needed supplies for this event to make it a success!

Whatever Good Things We Build End Up Building Us – You Matter! is the cover theme for this year. Original hardcopy & digital artwork covers are to be turned into the Front Office by December 8, 2023.

The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department (VVFD) is excited to share information about our upcoming Open House event focused on cooking safety and fire prevention! Our Open House will feature demonstrations, workshops, and other interactive activities to educate attendees on safe cooking practices.

The September 2023 PTA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 25th at 8pm via Zoom.

The submission portal is now open for the Reflections Arts Contest, a National PTA Program we participate in at Louise Archer. Students can submit works in literature, music composition, dance choreography, photography, visual arts, and film production. All Louise Archer students are encouraged to participate!

A special shout out to all the families, room parents, teachers, and staff who contributed photos last year and to our wonderful students who submitted cover artwork! It’s because of all of you that we can make such a memorable book. For those who missed out, there are still a couple copies left for purchase at the front office. $20 for softcover – cash or checks payable to “Louise Archer PTA.”
