Welcome back! Now is the time to join the Louise Archer PTA for the 2010-11 school year. All parents are encouraged to support the school through PTA membership. Dues are $6 per adult ($12 per couple) and additional contributions are always welcome. All parents and staff are welcome at monthly PTA meetings.

Why join Louise Archer PTA?

Support your school.  Our PTA supports student activities and school programs such as cultural arts programs, field trip transportation, the variety show, 6th grade dinner, the musical, and many others.  Contributions directly support the school through education grants to teachers and the purchase of enrichment materials and equipment.

Advocacy.  Your all-inclusive national, state and local PTA membership supports advocacy on issues that benefit children and families.  Examples include increasing opportunities to walk to and from school through Safe Routes to School, advocating at state and local levels on budget issues, and keeping kids well through the Healthy Lifestyles campaign.

Information.  Louise Archer PTA keeps you connected to all the important events at or around school.  Weekly Sunbeams, as well as all the latest information on student programs and events at and around school, are available on the PTA website. 

Tap into a Network. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, build rapport and discuss issues, share ideas, concerns, and experiences.

Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

Resources and discounts.  Information on members-only parenting resources and discounts can be found on your membership card, available at Back-to-School night.

Contributions to the Louise Archer PTA are tax-deductible.  Make your contribution go farther through an employer matching program.  If your employer offers a match program, we can help complete forms or work with your employer as necessary.
