The PTA is once again collaborating with Original Works for our annual art-based fundraiser. The online ordering catalog is now live with your child’s artwork!

Along with the products from past years, three new products are available for purchase this year: Silk Touch Blanket and Beach Towels (2 different designs).

Get your orders in by Thursday, March 28th if you want free shipping to the school. Your child will come home with ordering instructions next week. The instructions will include a unique code to find your child’s artwork on the webpage if you do not recognize it without the code.

You can also contact Cathy Chen if you need help with your child’s code or with ordering. Be sure to get your orders in before spring break if you will be going out of town. 

Come cheer on your favorite Louise Archer faculty as they take on the staff of Wolftrap Elementary in another Epic Volleyball Battle! Last year was close, but we were victorious thanks to our huge crowd of enthusiastic supporters. Admission is free for everyone! We will be selling Louise Archer rally towels, foam fingers and spirit sticks to help cheer on all our favorite teachers. Concession sales will include whole pizzas (not by slice), candy, and water.

We also are looking for volunteers to help with set up, concessions and clean up.

This month’s PTA Meeting is this Wednesday, Mar. 13th at 8pm.

The meeting is In-Person and will be held in the LAES Cafeteria.

The Louise Archer Elementary STEAM Extravaganza will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 6-8pm. 

This is a great opportunity to get students jazzed about science, technology, engineering, art, and math topics! 

We will have STEAM activities as well as give students the opportunity to showcase their favorite science topics. 

If your student wants to create a poster board on an experiment or even just a STEAM topic, look here for more information and to sign up!

Even if they don’t have a project, all students are invited to view the projects (and do some STEAM activities) during the Extravaganza.

Do you have a budding artist in your home who loves LAES? All LAES students are invited to submit a design for the front of the LA5K and Sun Run race t-shirt, which will be worn around town by hundreds of people. The design should be drawn on plain, white paper in black ink with the child’s name and grade on the back.

Take a picture, or scan, of your design and email it to us by NOON on Friday, March 15th.

Please join us for Pizza Bingo on Friday, April 19th 5:30-7pm.

Get ready to shout “BINGO!” and win some amazing prizes at this fun-filled event. Our Bingo callers, Mr. Drost & Mrs. Skousen, will guide you through multiple rounds of the classic game, and there will be plenty of opportunities to win.

Pizza will be available for sale (cash or credit card) starting at 5:30pm in the cafeteria. We will also be offering pre-sale pizza – order ahead to skip the line!

Bingo will be in the gym from 6-7pm.
