Please purchase tickets by Friday, May 31st. Your purchased online ticket serves as your student’s RSVP to the celebration. Tickets will not be available at the door.

With the PTA’s fiscal year coming to a close on June 30th, please have all reimbursement requests in by Friday, June 7th. This will allow time for the approval process, check delivery, and negotiation prior to the close of the fiscal year. Since my term as Treasurer ends this year, I’d like to make everything as clean as possible for the incoming Treasurer. 

In any case, reimbursement requests received after June 30th cannot be paid until the budget is approved by a vote at the first PTA meeting in the Fall. 

Our online reimbursement request and paper forms are available on the PTA website. If using a paper form, please place it in the PTA mailbox in the main office by Thursday, June 6th so that I may pick it up Friday morning.

LAES PTA is proud to announce: International Night 2024!

Friday, May 17th 6-8pm

Set-up time for presenting families: 5pm

If you would like to host a booth to present a country, culture & traditions to the school body, please email us by May 10th to register, including your family name, country and best contact method.

*If more than one family chooses the same country, the first registering family will be given the option to choose if to collaborate.

Have you signed up for the LA5K & Sun Run yet? The races are right around the corner, on Sunday April 28!

There are a limited number of shirts, designed by LAES’s very own Preston Zhang, in certain sizes available if you register NOW. The last day to register online is Tuesday, April 23!

Late registration will be available at:

• Packet Pickups at Chick-fil-A during Dining For Dollars on Wednesday
• LAES on Friday
• Potomac River Running on Saturday
• The morning of the race – NEXT SUNDAY

Finally, we still need lots of race-day volunteers. This is a great opportunity for parents OR teens who need service hours. Sign up and come help cheer on our participants!
