Come cheer on your favorite Louise Archer faculty as they take on the staff of Wolftrap Elementary in another Epic Volleyball Battle! Last year was close, but we were victorious thanks to our huge crowd of enthusiastic supporters. Admission is free for everyone! We will be selling Louise Archer rally towels, foam fingers and spirit sticks to help cheer on all our favorite teachers. Concession sales will include whole pizzas (not by slice), candy, and water. Pizza will be available for pre-order on the PTA website soon. 

We also are looking for volunteers to help with set up, concessions and clean up. Be on the lookout for a Sign Up Genius.

The Louise Archer PTA will be hosting a Read-a-thon from March 3-23, 2024 for our students to not only raise funds, but offer positive encouragement for children to cultivate a love for reading. Student participation is not required but encouraged. Readers will be eligible for fun prizes the more they read and special prizes will be given to the student and class that reads the most! All reading counts – even what is done in school – so activate your reader’s account today.

All funds raised through Read-A-Thon will support the Louise Archer PTA’s programs and events both now and in the future. We hope you will join us on this Read-A-Thon journey.

The Louise Archer Elementary STEAM Extravaganza will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 6-8pm. 

This is a great opportunity to get students jazzed about science, technology, engineering, art, and math topics! 

We will have STEAM activities as well as give students the opportunity to showcase their favorite science topics. 

If your student wants to create a poster board on an experiment or even just a STEAM topic, look here for more information and to sign up!

Even if they don’t have a project, all students are invited to view the projects (and do some STEAM activities) during the Extravaganza.

Summer Sports Camp registration is opening this week!

These camps will be taught by your favorite PE teachers and the Sports & Games LLC staff. We will run three sessions: June 17-21, June 24-28, and August 5-9.

Registration opens Wednesday, March 6 through Homeroom. Registration will be open until the sessions are full.

Note that due to school renovations, the sports camp will be held at Vienna Adventist Academy this summer. Camp will run from 9am – 2pm.
