Free Student Meal Program

FCPS is encouraging ALL families to take advantage of the free student meal program. FCPS would like to provide every student in FCPS access to a healthy meals during this pandemic.

All FCPS students (regardless of age) are eligible for free grab and go meals, as well as other Fairfax county children that are eighteen (18) years and under. Adults picking up meals for children should let staff know how many children’s meals they need. Adults may pay $2 for the meals as well. The closest grab and go locations to Vienna include Cunningham Park Elementary Schools, Luther Jackson Middle School, and South Lakes Highschool. Meals are available for pick up between 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m daily. Schedule is adjusted due to inclement weather so check the site listed below.

More information can be found here. https://www.fcps.edu/return-school/food

As a reminder, it is important to follow social distancing guidelines. Be sure to stand a minimum of 6 feet apart from others and practice regular hand washing, including prior to leaving a residence to pick-up meals. Please wear a mask when picking up meals.

BoxTops for Education = Free Money for LAES!

Welcome back to school! Hoping you are ready to collect grocery and/or retail receipts to earn cash for Louise Archer Elementary School (LAES). As the Box Tops for Education PTA Coordinator for LAES, I want to share how scanning store receipts with participating Box Tops products is an easy way to help buy needed school supplies. Box Tops are worth 10 cents each which can quickly add up to cash for our school.

Now that the Box Tops for Education program is digital, the new mobile app can scan store receipts and automatically identify participating products, instantly adding Box Tops cash to our school’s earnings online. No clipping required!

This YouTube video clip shows how to scan and includes a link to subscribe to the program!

For more information, please visit the LAES PTA Website or the Box Tops for Education home page.

Thank you for your support!

Please email Karen Meade with any questions.
